Susan is a grade bay mare. We do not know exactly how old she is (our vet estimates 15), but she knows exactly where she's going—and she's daring you to keep up.
Standing just under 16 hands with solid feet and a lifetime of trail experience, Susan is the definition of a trail horse deluxe. Steep hills, creek crossings, deadfall, brush... if you're brave enough to point her at it, she's game. She's happiest spending long days wandering the woods, but don't mistake her love of a leisurely trail ride for laziness—she's still got plenty of gas in the tank when the trail gets exciting.
